I keep thinking about it, and i cant stop. Like, it would fit so well if everything was reskinned to fit 40k.
For like an event or whatever. Maybe its own server. I dont care really, i just think it fits like a glove and need to say it. Think about it. It would barley need any changing code wise. Well expect laz guns, but one could also just chose to pretend they arent a thing.
USCM are the Imperal guard. Xenos are Tyranids. SL would be commisars. Comtecs would be TecPriests(they are guardman comtecs in lore). MPs be the Inquisition or Adeptus Arbites, although latter be less funny then again they are just judge dredd. Sadly though i cant think of a place to fit the sisters of battle, even though i really want to.
Like, there is so many roles that would be incredibly easy to translate. And dont pretend it wouldn’t be fun as fuck to RP.
Like, it fit so good. Be a hell of a spriting job. So i know it never be a thing. But still. I cant be the only one that thinks it would fit so well. But then i always see some sprites lost in the files, like the Bolter projectile, and get to dream again.
Like, maybe a server thats a downstream of CM could work for it, but it would likly need to be rebalanced then cause i doubt it have enough players to work with current game. Idunno.
Dont take me to serios, i just needed to ramble and see if im the only one with those thoughts. I keep thinking about this for YEARS now.
If this fits more in acid goop put it there, but i think this is serious enough of a topic that it maybe fits in general.
