A (Base) Crusher Guide!

CC “crowd control” is not just for crowds, but for individuals too. It just means stun/slow/disable, etc. The sort of move that prevents a person or group of people from doing a particular action or makes them worse at it. It sounds confusing but its just a moba term because in groupfights a -1 is very helpful.


Also a very important passive you forgot to mention is the cooldown reduction on slash. This can affect fights pretty significantly - its minus 1 second per slash (AOE slashes don’t give any extra CDR - its always just -1 per slash) which means A) Greater uptime, B) Higher ability to combo or followup on the advtg you create (because you get your abilities back faster mid combat), and C) easier escapes after killing somebody

This can lead to for example, charge, slash slash slash slash (your charge uptime is 30% faster now which is genuinely REALLY amazing, by the time you get all 4 slashes off your charge will already be back probably, and you can probably get extra slashes DURING the windup of the charge) And now you can charge, slash slash slash slash, or charge to escape, etc.

Another important thing is, during the windup of charge, your cooldown on charge is going down! This means while yes its a 13 second cooldown, it’ll be like 10 seconds by the time you charge.

An important part of getting towards the skill ceiling of crusher is being aware of and playing around her cooldowns. The better you are at playing the cooldowns, the higher impact you will be. Just like any resource (health, teammates health, range/terrain/position, info, etc) playing for resource control and utilization will provide undeniable pressure and counter a lot of counterplay.
