Allow backliners to destroy claymores (Xeno Mald Post 301)

The 2 backline castes currently have no way of destroying claymores, especially if they are OT insta gibbers, so I suggest allowing Tailstab and Runners’ bone spur to be used to set off claymores. This allows at least a minor amount of counterplay to Claymores, although it still doesn’t help that they are fully hidden and insta gibbers, but it will be something at least and will probably still gib the xeno anyway, but hey, every little helps.

Shout out to a fellow malder III Make turrets and claymores not concealable

OT claymores should be directional just like reg claymores I think

Actually a really good idea also if you examine a Claymore it should say which direction it’s facing.

Call a local Sentinel/Spitter and tell them to spit on the claymores while you run to a safe distance :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

None of them are really fit for backline, more than that these are the least played castes.

After some consideration, I realize now that you are right, and my suggestion doesn’t help the case with the fact that there are mines out there that are detrimental for xeno and marine alike (Depending on how they are utilized, like the case of big fire mines being next to cades or big explosions wiping more marines than xenos.).

And both sides heavily dislike the fact that there are ‘traps’ that could permanently remove you from the round (OT mines and Hugger Traps.).

I can’t be everywhere ok?

remove fire or make it agm like?

Maybe there could be a way to disarm them like comtechs have to with the multitool. It could take a second so that you’re not just instantly being rid of claymores but also still able to do something about them assuming nobody is around.

I have no idea how this would be implemented though. :broken_heart:

if xeno is on help intent mode they disarm it (no boom). if not then boom. seems nice

just make fire directional too

i fw directional fire (im OT main) can you code it :3

Xenos mad x24? Kara is in the Highlands of Scotland.
