Any tip for LAG issue?? (from asia player)

Many say Asia player will have around 200ms - 300ms but all i saw is 2,000ms - 30,000ms from time to time and i might possibly the cause that make the server slowdown.
So yeah if you have exprience this kind of lag or have any fix tip please comment below to help everyone.

If you haven’t already, connect to your closest relay.

  1. Open CM-SS13.
  2. Click on the ping indicator.
  3. Find your closest relay (Numerical ping doesn’t matter.)
  4. Hover your mouse over that relay, then click.
  5. It will reconnect, after that, your ping should be more stable.

Otherwise: Ensure you aren’t downloading anything (Steam auto-updates are a big culprit for this), ensure you don’t have a game running in the background, ensure that you don’t have too many tabs open in your browser of choice, and if you’re listening to music, turn the streaming quality (Or video quality, on YouTube) down.

If none of that helps, consider getting a new internet plan - a new router can change the game (Or, your connection to it:). Generally speaking, you won’t get a better ping than ~150-250ms, no matter how hard you try, due to the distance between you and the server.

From time to time? Are you SEA?

When I was in Hong Kong ping would occasionally go to like 2000ms during typhoon season (especially if there was a typhoon present), nothing you can do about it. Sometimes periods of lag lasted for just an hour to maybe a week if it was particularly bad. If you’re using an older computer/desktop I would recommend you swap to ethernet connection instead of staying wireless as well. That might fix your latency issues.

I have around 100ms-150ms in china,just KEEP harassing your LSP and pay for better internet plan,that’s how it works for me in china,
