Reason for Ban:
Rule 2/8 - Roleplay/Use your slot: As a squad leader, early launched the Alamo due to the CO taking too long to start the op, in their opinion. " i understand to the extent that it might be LRP but i don’t like a CO deliberately wasting my IRL time". Please treat your role realistically, especially if you are an SL. Please be careful about being LRP in the future.

This is my first ban for in-game behavior; I HAVE been noted for a few things though, so I’ll present those first –
1.) Got really salty at a xeno for what looked like a xeno UAV on a survivor, accused them of metagaming even after the ahelp resolved that there was no metagame (tbh i kinda got egged on by the dchat mob here)
2.) Chasing a survivor at end-round as a Forsaken runner, I screamed “I HATE THE ANTI-CHRIST” on a macro
3.) After some real C.B.T. as xeno on Whiskey Outpost, I gave some “fuck offs” to the Queen.
These are all shitty notes, the last one especially. Two of them are even for LRP. I acknowledge that fully so I get where this ban probably came from.
This appeal isn’t really to argue with the ban, or even get it lifted, because I know Smelly Hippie is correct and per-the-rules here, although starting off with a 3 day ban kind of hurts, I get it.
The appeal is more so I can reference it in the future if this ban is brought up as a “fuck you” to me (if I’m applying for whitelists, etc).
The round started. Briefing was then announced for 23:25. It started late, and took 8-10 minutes. Command staff prioritized slowly typing out entire enunciations, like El-Zee Seven-Fiver-Niner, over giving an actual brief. This entire brief, in CIC, amounted to telling the SLs to “go west”. This was a frustrating waste of time and it genuinely felt like trolling.
There was then a (false) callout of a shooting on the Alamo and Command announced that they wouldn’t launch until “someone said who the shooter was” (quote). This was a frustrating waste of time because radio kept affirming that there was no actual shooter.
So I first radio’d, “ALL SLS ON BOARD???”, then I ran around the shuttle, checked all the SLs were there - they were, so I told the pilot to move out of the way and I launched. I then recommended an ASL I trust to promote in my place, as CO arrested me, and was very in-character and cordial with the CO the entire time. I maintained that we were responding to a distress signal, and thus urgency was necessary; neglect and deliberate time-wasting felt unlawful to me in-character. (it genuinely did).
This was an SL breaking the law. That happens, but I don’t feel the way I behaved was the worst LRP imaginable. And yes, on an out-of-character level, it was because I felt my time was being wasted.
Again, I get that Hippie’s probably right here, and he has a better understanding of the roleplay environment the server’s fostering – the “spirit of the rules” – than I do, I just want this on record as my thoughts re: why I did what I did. I don’t plan to do similar shit again – the ban is a warning and the warning’s fair enough.
