The old doom slayer PMC on BR or the old cabin spawn on LV.
UPP on Trijent is really cool but people have decided they want that instead of normal surv so it’s too common imo.

With the exception of the research nightmare on shivas all survivor nightmare inserts are great.
they offer a slightly different angle and in some cases like the UPP one cover for a maps biggest weakness, in trijents case a lack of guns that aren’t HGs.
personally i am looking forward to the rumoured RMC nightmare due to RP and character reasons, other than i hope to see hybrissa return with its own science team nightmare and experience that.
the map alteration nightmare are also quite enjoyable. breaking into the armoury on LV nexus to find a whole lot of cheese is a unique experience. imo, all maps should offer more scenarios like that, well maybe not all of them cheese based.
overall its difficult to pick a favourite here, tho the pred gear LV one holds so much potential so i will go with that one.

CLF crashed ship in LV is peak, it’s only nerfed by the fact that LV is a baldy magnet, so people tend to fuck around inside of the ship when the hive is literally on walking distance.

As for the topic at hand the best nightmare is really hard pick, there’s a lot of fun third factions from CMB team on Fiorina and UPP in trijent but I think PMCs have got to be the best, love the gear and you have a lot of RP angles to play with. You have some actual RP weight you can lean into.
Lots of small good nightmare for loot have been a godsend too like the flamer on Solaris or the PMC beret on LV crashed ship for some extra style.
CLF have got to be the worst but it’s not really their fault. Being on LV an already smallish map with the fog makes their life worse than it has to be. If they were on trijent dam where there’s so much more space to drive I reckon they’d have a better time. I still one day want to take my CLF buddies to lake house and hold there but not managed to convince anyone yet.
Research on Shivas is also really REALLY awful since you have NO warm clothes so you lose out on a lot of time swapping clothes around when you’re already on a huge timer to get the metal. All of which spawns next/near to the hive locations.
