There have been events where for one reason or another non-marine players were spawned. However due to the way the game is now they were too few since most players rolled for marines. It is a let down to say do an event centered around colonists and 100 marines deploy to 8 colonists. I think I have a solution to it. And that is to limit marine spawns for round start. As a result we will get more non-marine spawns to make the event more immersive while allowing late joins to pick their side. We will also bare witness to a first ever rifleman roll fail. So when say we do a riot event or a greenshift there will actually be colonists around to make it feel like a proper colony.
