Reason for Ban:

Attempted to get SS13 working back on Wine under Arch Linux. Accidentally joined CM13 and got stickybanned as I was testing. Genuinely not sure why Wine no longer works for SS13 although it could be due to other factors but I’ve stopped trying to get it working for now. Got a KVM setup for Windows 10 now for SS13 and other stuff I want to mess around with.

I may attempt to get Wine (or Proton) working in the future for SS13, but I’ll try and avoid CM13 unless I can get some assistance or an exception for these kind of bans currently on this account. I’ve been on BYOND for a while now (previous ckey Coolsuf6) so it would be nice to finally be able to play a bit of SS13 at some point on my main system. For the time being though, I can just focus on using my KVM to hopefully not cause any further confusion.

Wine doesn’t work on SS13 because of TGUI I’ve learned. Learned that the hard way. There may be workarounds though. Sorry for peanutpost just figured I’d inform this guy.

Nope I fully respect you mentioning this! I think TGUI uses webview which is basically Microsoft Edge, and Microsoft Edge does NOT work at all under wine. Only IE7 and IE8.

It’s the reason I gave up and had to use KVM QEMU. That was 13 hours well spent.
