Description of the incident:

I am filing this out on behalf of the Warden, who is a friend of mine.
The MP has been making the least ‘sexual remarks’ during his training, which made me the warden and obviously uncomfortable and later disgusted as the comments just increased in severity and nature. With me even telling the MP that ‘sexual harassment’ was a crime which the Warden intended to press charges for, and I told him to go apologise to the Warden at least, which he flat out refused to do and continued his remarks. The only funny thing that came out of the situation was the CMP confusing my friends report on the Corporal for me as I stripped the Warden to properly demonstrate to the rookie on how to safely brig someone but then the accused sniffed the wardens clothing which you can find a screenshot of making the warden uncomfortable with continuing the training but this later got cleared up by the warden as the CMP somehow misunderstood who was being reported, just putting this in so yall aware as well.

Introduction

I was playing as a Provost fax responder during that round. While I did not witness most of the mentioned remarks done by the accused corporal during my observations of the Almayer (mostly due to the sheer amount of messages and things to follow), I did see the part where warden briefly took a role of a prisoner for the sake of training the accused corporal.

I, unfortunately, did not wintess the specific “sniffing” emote due to being distracted by another matter (more on that later), but did observe how @general_hi_ping stripped warden naked in order to teach the accused, and the subsequent confusion where CMP Rose almost pressed sexual assault charges against a wrong person.

Observations

To add from me personally, I have been watching the accused from the Provost office for some time already. The Corporal of which name I dare not try to spell correctly clearly only posesses rudimentary Marine Law & SOP knowledge, if any at all.
A round prior to the one in the report, I have witnessed the accused let go of an officer ordered arrestee marine due to not understanding how to process them properly (he was almost the only MP present at the time), whith the arrestee later to try an kill the CE but that’s another story entirely.
I do not remember whether in the round in this report, or the round prior, but the accussed lied to other MPs about knowing ML & SOP. That happened right after he was caught carrying a rifle of green by one of the MPs.
The accused also did not understand arrest procedures, prisoner processing, prisoner rights, and was overall acting strangely. On top of that, I suspect that the accused does not know how to use military police communication channel.
Lastly, the accused corporal had a tendency to “let go” of the prisoners, one istance of which I already stated. The other being the “fake” prisoner warden while the other two MPs looked away for a moment.
In summary, I’m not sure if they even read the MP wiki page.

The process

Now, returning to the training in hand, I wish to note the overall goofiness during the process, with certain MPs (primerally the warden and the accused, but Jeffrey (or was it his friend?) was pulled into it by force too by them) basicly being a bunch of monkeys, screaming and stunning each other with disablers in brig processing, making me more concerned with (figuratively) spamming *facepalm than to actually follow the situation, as I was filling a paper at the same time regaring the training (the paper did not make it, I changed my mind later). That is why I got distracted, as the training was done pretty sloppily as a whole, setting a somewhat lighthearted tone.

Conclusion

This is my statement. It does look like the situation was resolved IC, with CMP making the accused promise to stop acting in “that” way, but that is definitely not for me to decide.

Heya i’m Violeta(The warden). As said jeffrey asked me if i wanted him to write the report on behalf of me, since he knows i’m a extremely anxious person, and i’m scared of fucking up

but i want to add two things.

1. The whole appologies thing didnt work, after Rosa left, and the accused ‘appologized’ he said this. as is present in the report.Which made us seek the colonel but a hijack happend after.
   

   

2. The whole goofy process with the shooting of taser was a request that rose asked me for, ‘resist as best as possible’ to show a realistic scenario of a non-complying prisioneer.

Hi I am just here to fill in some incorrect or missing information from your account that you might not have witnessed for everyone’s sake in order of events.

1. Admittedly the training was a bit more sloppier then usual as me and the Violeta (Warden) started to teached the accused (Corporal MP) firstly the usage of his MP tools which are important/essential part of any training where he went a lot overboard with the usage/testing of them on Violeta (Warden) who was assisting with the training with me even telling the MP to ease off using the non lethals which he was in better terms spamming on the Warde, during this process he said several “sketchy” comments that mods could probably find that related to his later more outrageous comments which I firstly didn’t pay attention at the time as I thought he was relating those comments to his weaponry or just goofing around, as it turns out he wasn’t

2. During the booking process, I was pulled aside by the CMP Rose and told that the Warden will resist in order to make the training more life like, as I usually agree the best way to learn something is from first-hand experience but that tasing did went a bit overboard and with the training detainee subdued I attempted to demonstrate to the accused (Corporal MP) how to properly brig a prisoner by stripping them, dressing them in prison clothing with the headset in order to avoid them breaking out which CMP seemingly objected which I am still not sure why as we wanted to make the training more life like to my knowledge but anyway this is where the sniffing occurred during that where the accused (Corporal MP) picked up the Warden’s uniform and sniffed it as I was demonstrating how to properly brig someone.

3. After Violeta (Warden) made a report to Rose (CMP) about pressing charges for sexual assault on the accused (Corporal MP) for his creepy behaviour, which the CMP confused for me but this was cleared up during my talk with the CMP, as Violeta (Warden) came in during our talk and informed the CMP that it wasn’t againts me but the accused (Corporal MP) who Rose (CMP) proceeded to also have a talk with which I didn’t have a privy into so I have no idea what was said but I can generally assume that the CMP ordered him to stop this behaviour however after the CMP cryoed the MP continued the disgusting remarks with me even telling them his behaviour/actions was a crime under Military Law as ‘sexual harrasment’ and that he should apologise to the Warden (Violeta) which he refused and thats where I informed the Violeta (Warden) about his continued behaviour and we both attempted to inform to the CO about the situation and his help with arresting the MP for sexual harrasment as we personally haven’t arrested any other members of Military Police figuring we would need his permission due to the CMP being in cryo but hijack unfortunately cut this short.

TBH that training could have probably have been done a bit better as it was a bit chaotic, but at least it drove home the basic skills that would be needed for MP. However, we cannot teach proper behaviour to someone who doesn’t wishes to learn it and we both (me and the Warden) find the MPs behaviour uncomfortable so we would like to let staff deal with this matter instead as our previous attempts by me and the CMP had made seemed not effective. With this behaviour likely to continue
