@Hellware How did you achieve this status?
Respectfully as possibly and no actually hatred toward @Hellware, no.
I have to update my admin tier list.
He’s going in F for leadership.
i simply lead what can i say
???
warning, actually serious acid goop reply: discourse (this forum software) by default will promote you up certain levels based on various activity requirements, leader is the highest level without being in a manual group like admin etc. and lets you do certain moderator things - I don’t know the settings on here of course but it if it was left as default then he likely met the requirements and got automatically promoted.
i approve of this, when i see a shirtless marine with a roller bed charge into the dark my instincts tell me to follow them.
Then explain how @DukeofCagliostro is still a regular?!?!
The man can’t even maintain regular at times
But uhh Helware got promoted manually, it wasn’t automatic so everyone just going to have to accept the fact he’s the chosen one of us.
Hellware for host when?
i don’t know all the criteria for promotion - it seems weird to me that they’d be manually leader’d and not just set as a regular moderator - but unless harry weighs in or something then who knows
because trust level 4 is hardcoded to give certain moderation powers, like the ability to close topics and stuff. it can’t be given to other groups, hence hellware’s promotion
regular moderator is for bona fide server staff
yeah, Im trustworthy enough for extremely minor privileges without actual real responsibility and expectations/power, jealrous?
Check is in the mail.
Hehe, I mean, I think it makes more sense to just make you a full moderator rather than introduce another tier of staff. Also when a random newbie in a couple months sees you as forum moderator and someone else as trial moderator, they aren’t gonna think that the trial moderator actually has more power - but hey, whatever management wants is fine by me, I don’t have a horse in this race as the saying goes.
hellware is just below trial mod, therefore a noob
You actually raise a good point @mike. Maybe the term Forum Leader would be better and not throw people off? What are your thoughts?
When I think of Forum Leader I think of someone in charge of the entire forum, so I think it would fit harry more, haha. Ahem, no horse in race
That is a good point. I will continue to workshop this.
