Vro. Just be tanky.
Catch any of sharp bolts
Engage close combat
OH MY GOD SHARP GOT STUNNED BY EXPLOSION OF THE BOLT HE ATTACHED TO XENO AND CAPPED. Explosivers still work better against marines, than xenos. Fr

My favoruite tactic catch sharp as defender, And bring it to marines.

HE darts absolutely suck for embed, they’re a noob filter for SHARP. Should only be used as mines.

The only thing u should be using for embeds as SHARP is incen, and even then you shouldnt be going for embeds really, it’s (usually) a waste of ammo

M5 RPG Specialist (SADAR): Bait them to use up their ammo. If you’re not a T3/Queen/King, you are nearly infinitely replaceable (practically speaking). They can only have so much! If the specialist is using OT rockets, reconsider this method.

Grenadier: Pounce them :).

SHARP Spec: You can’t go wrong with literally any tactic. The SHARP rifle is confusing, and as far as I’m aware, there isn’t an ‘optimal’ way of playing just yet. I guess darts being embedded within marines can technically harm their own team (Right-click ‘Remove embedded objects’ to remove, by the way!).

Scout: Stare blankly at your screen trying to figure out if you just saw the scout, or if your eyes have deceived you after playing CM-SS13 for twelve hours straight. Believe it to be the latter, only to have it confirmed as the former by being stunned to oblivion whilst on fire. Theres currently no counter.other than adjusting your display settings to what they should be. (Look up ‘Calibrate Display Colour’ in the Windows Key menu. Enjoy finally being able to see).

Sniper (Both variants): Hard cover works wonders. They can’t (really*) shoot what you can’t see. Otherwise, play conservatively. The sniper generally excels at taking out targets in critical. Don’t get hubris and overextend! *Technically speaking, the AMR can go through walls, but because they can’t see whats behind the walls, they’re shooting blind.

Flamethrower Specialist: Hubris will overcome them. Try and take them out while they’re overextending. A good flamethrower specialist can entirely shut down flanks, or make the front-line into a standstill.

The Funny Adminspawn Only Sniper Rifle (M707 ‘Vulture’): No one knows how it works. I’ve tried using it (Thanks for that.. ‘engaging experience’, whoever gifted it to me.. Biolock, maybe?) and it only ended in a line of dead friendlies (Whoops!). I later tried sniping a Yautja but without my spotter, the sight drifted and I missed. In a panic during the ensuing scuffle, I fired it without bracing, broke both arms and got skinned. In short, this rifle can kill in the right hands, but I don’t think anyone has enough practice to kill anything that isn’t a friendly. Keep them alive and die of laughter when there’s an entire line of casualties, who are unrevivable due to the fact they have mass organ damage.. I guess you could try and pounce them - The sniper is confined to a 3x3 view through their sight, and the spotter.. I don’t actually know. Really, the best option here is to just wait.. Its like that one Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater boss!

B18 Heavy Armour Specialist: Huh.. on HvX? Uh… Pounce them :).

Or you could just rush with the Queen.. Maybe the Queen could pounce them! God, I’m too good at writing guides…
