yes it is just kinda thrown at random #abcd are clf special channels for example

I like the way current HvH is going, honestly. Only thing needed to buff binocs again to make mortar useable imo, but otherwise I find all of the changes completely reasonable.
Scopes suck, they put one player at an advantage over the other for camping in one spot and waiting to ambush someone, which turns that player into a dumbed down lurker.
Pre-firing sucked really badly for the people I did it on, because you could down an entire squad without them having any meaningful way to retaliate if they dont have binocs to even see you. I liked to abuse it to get kills, but it makes combat too easy.
Darkness is AWFUL, mostly because NVG users would abuse it to dominate the game and run away with 10+ kills, especially scouts.

Most people already dont think when playing CM, which leads to them dying in HvX when the other team turns on their brain, so trying to make this pseudo-arma where you have to think about every single step would quickly turn these events into pure shitshow with no real gameplay for minutes on end as you wait to lurker pounce someone pushing around the corner with your epic scope as scout.
Only way I can see darkness working is, like someone said before, in a CLF gamemode in which CLF would have to use darkness to have any way to win, maybe 2x scopes too. Otherwise, its a really abuseable mechanic that only works for HvX cause xenos have permanent nightvision.
