banned for rule 6
Thatās what I did when I first joined CM. Kept me out of trouble too
Common sense is key.
love the clout i have amassed
holy skibidi toilet you truly are the ohio rizzler, total ohio sigma right here chat
For those who think Iām trolling yes and no. I am genuinely upset about it but at the same time I canāt do anything about it either. Yes I know it was dumb as hell to upgrade my 3 hour to a forever hour ban.
We are more just baffled at the fact that instead of eating a 3 hour ban and just, doing something else with those three hours like, reading the rules, or getting food etc, you decided to ban evade and then proceed toā¦
Make this post claiming its utter bullshit.
Well it doesnāt matter anyway. Iām definitely not waiting 6 months for an appeal. Iāll literally play something else. Again, I understand it was stupid to ban evade and wish I hadnāt but at the same time I wish admins gave you a verbal warning. āEORG will get you banned without warningā why? Iāve literally seen other marines do the same thing and it doesnāt look like they get any repercussions because they join next game no problem
Its context based.
If a marine outright starts shooting others with no prior escalation or rp, its EORG.
If marines are attacking something hostile (Xenos, ERT etc etc)
Its also a warning when the end of round pops up saying EORG results in a ban without a warning
No I was shooting a dead xeno and I threw a nade on it to deliver ultimate democracy. And a guy got hit by it. I threw it immediately after priming it too so guy had enough time to get tf outta the way so he didnāt get turned into paste.
Hey man, I feel you. Once I got an EORG ban for shooting myself in the foot to test out a chemical I had made, lol. It just is what is man. This is someone elseās server, after all, and so we have to listen to their rules.
That being said, try not to evade a ban next time lol. That is a recipe for disaster.
Yeah Iām glad someone understands. I know I shouldnāt have ban evaded. I just REALLY donāt wanna wait six months to not even have a 100% chance to play the game again. I kinda just wanna find some way to take this appeal further. But honestly they might just trash it because I retaliated with multikeying
My advice? Play some other SS13 server and get a good reputation there, especially with staff. Vouchers from other SS13 server staff are a great way to show you regret your actions and will do better in the future, making your chances at appeal acceptance that much better.
Oh, and maybe try your luck with Morrowās PvE CMSS13 server. Itās not always on, but there are at least 1 or 2 games every other day, and many players on that server also play here.
Yeah I play TGMC. Super fun. And the admins seem like cool people
What is morrow pve? Is it sci-fi or medieval or what?
Itās like this server, but only 11 players can play as marines at a time, xeno are (usually) non-playable and controlled by AI, and has a heavier emphasis on roleplay and story. This is a gross oversimplification of it, but this is the general idea behind the server.
I referred to it as Morrowās PvE CMSS13 server because itās run by Morrowwolf, the former maintenance manager of this server.
Hereās the link to the discord, where the link to the games are published: PvE-CMSS13
Thanks Iāll give it a go.
Read the rules ignorance isnt an excuse. Staff acted as they should have. Your main issue is the rule and policy itself.
Yeah that amount of f bombs being drop over a what was a 3 hour ban that you made into a 6 month ban in a 2D spaceman game is sad man. For real not a good look man.
TOPIC LOCKED
Seeing as there is nothing else to discuss constructively, and the individual in question has learned their mistake (or so Iād hope), the topic has been locked. It is slowly heading towards a toxic-fest too (comments deleted ), letās keep it healthy.

@BOLTER1644
You may appeal your ban after 180 days (6 months) have passed. Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse to break them, just like ignorance of the law is not an excuse to break the law.
Iād recommend taking the time to genuinely read the rules and reflect on your actions and replies in this post.
