These past few weeks have been a milestone in my life apparently. My transferring process to another university, having to move out to another city for it, attempting to deal with my video games addiction, finally leaving my comfort zone and joining the people I know in daily life, recieving a few therapy sessions from a counselor/psychologist relative of mine, being suggested to take medication and other personal issues that I can not talk about here. While all of this was happening, I had a lot of time to think about my past actions in real life, what kind of a person I am and my previous actions on the internet with the spare time I got from my video-game detox. With all that thinking I came to realize that I was not the best or kindest person in the world.
Reflecting all the things I wrote above, I would like to apologize to any players of this community I have hurt, offended, or been rude to. I will not be playing CM or any other computer game for some duration I don’t know how long it will be although will keep being an active member of the community. My in-game name was Alaz Demirci and I apologize to you all. Hopefully I will return as another character at a later date with a fresh blank page.
