Flipped tables should be significantly more durable, at least 10x what they are but with no ability to repair them, and a channel to flip a table so you can’t instantly make a new one and flip it after the old is broken.
Improvised defences to survive is soul.
Also give an improvised way to jam an airlock shut like with metal rods.
Table-holds will be soul.

Question, would a flipped table somehow be more resistant to damage then a non-flipped one? Because if not, you are also rooting for a straight up HP boost to every single table on the map, which is an actual ballache to any xeno who needs to deal with them. Almost the same as buffing window frames.
Not soul. Meta. Just deploy another table right on top of the old one and you have a super-barricade again. Eventually, there would be so many nerfs that it wouldn’t be viable at all anymore, all of this not even to mention how little it makes sense to have a table be more durable than a barricade
The flipped table would be somehow uniquely a bit more durable, maybe you use metal rods to reinforce flipped tables into a ‘makeshift barricade’ and then can wire them as well?

I always approve of more soul.
This isn’t aligned with the current mindset of adding more attrition to marines, so it wouldn’t get accepted just based on that.
