Incendiary slugs should only take 1 resist to extinguish

Incendiary slugs are one of the more oppressive tools survivors can get. They aren’t telegraphed, and if you don’t have a fellow xeno to help pat you down, being lit and taking damage until you roll twice lets a competent survivor chase you down and kill you.

Having to roll once, would still force the xeno to run off in order extinguish themself, but it wouldn’t be as great of a fragging tool. Survivors killing too many xenos before marines land can kill balance, and survivors getting gear better than marines is always very weird.

You can try not rushing survivors and instead… idk… build your defense? Seeing lonesome drone building half the cave while others either afking or rushing survs thinking they’re good is not a good sight.

I mean survivors barely have anything to deal with the Drone hoard to begin with, most maps don’t even have slugs. Fire is really the only way to actually kill some Xenos or at the least get them to back off you. Removing them is a mistake considering how dogshit guns are on most maps.

I don’t think making the fire a little weaker is the same as outright removing them. It just makes them still a hazard instead of certain death.
