Description of the incident:

I was ground side with Netta(Bravo medic) and a Delta SG that was late stage hugged in a cryo bag. Being a Nurse deployed in FOB, I was a bit bored and decided to joke around while tending to marines. In this case, the Delta SG was begging to be killed since they were late-stage hugged. I made a joke saying along the lines of “If you die, I’ll have you arrested!”. Netta, who was attending the Delta SG thought my joke was directed towards them and got upset. Netta then did what the SG asked for, which was killing the Delta SG to relieve their suffering. I thought that it wasn’t a bad decision since I believe that corpses delay the chances of larvae bursting whether it is true or not. After killing the Delta SG, I said another joke along the lines of “I’ll have you arrested for dying!” Again, Netta still believed that It was directed towards them and verbally displayed their frustrations. Another bravo medic who happened to see Netta kill the Delta SG proceeded to revive the dead SG. I tried to tell the other bravo medic to stop reviving him so we can CPR and take the larvae out once we reach shipside, but he did so anyways. After the SG was revived, I just proceeded to shove them back into the cryo bag since what’s done was done. I didn’t want to kill the SG again and they stopped asking for their death. Once the Alamo arrived, I loaded up the Delta SG and another marine that was in a cryo bag along with the SG’s gear. During the ride, Netta called me annoying, which I can understand that calling MPs for murder would make me a snitch, but I said that I did nothing wrong as I brought the cryo-bagged marines on board. Once we reached shipside, I dragged the Delta SG to an operating room with Netta where I spammed the med coms for a doctor to come quickly and extract the larvae. I found a gun on the ground and waited in the OR room in case the doctors did not make it in time. While in the OR waiting for a doctor, I told Netta to lighten up because I didn’t mean what I said about me snitching to the MPs about the murder. I’m not sure when, but Netta stated and refused to believe that I did not call MPs to arrest them. Netta proceeded to crit OD me(6 injections from what I saw 80U OD) and turned themselves in to be arrested by a nearby MP.

If the accused is guilty of this rule break, I would like a warning/note to be applied as it was very frustrating as I was trying to save a late-stage Delta SG from popping and it prevented me from killing the larvae in case the Delta SG bursted. Netta was actively trying to argue with me instead of trying to help the Delta SG which made me believe that they just wanted the last laugh before they were caught for murder because I “snitched on them”. Not only did they OD me, but they also left me and the Delta SG for dead in the Operating room. I was the only one actively trying to get a doctor to come to the operating room while Netta was trying to make me seem like the bad guy the entire time. Had a doctor not come in time for the surgery or if I had died anywhere else on the ship. It would have caused both me and the Delta SG to sit out the rest of the round.

Encounter between Delta SG, Cynthia Morrison and the accused, Netta Foegle that results in Netta shooting Cynthia. Technically not what Cynthia asked for, but they did imply they want to die. Song Wu, the accuser, makes an off handed joke about this during the exchange. From the get go, it seems like Netta did not understand that this was a joke and assumed this was an actual threat of arrest on Song’s part.

Immediate conversation after the above between the accused and accuser, Song says the joke 5 seconds after Cyn was killed, so its reasonable to think that they are talking to Cyn at this point. Netta clearly thinks that this is meant for her and gets defensive.

The altercation that is being reported: While an increasingly upset Song desperately tries to get anyone to do surgery on Cyn, Netta seems to follow them and offers to shoot Cyn again. At this point no one seems to be paying attention to Netta - Cyn is convinced they are about to burst, Song is trying to cover a possible burst before surgery starts.

While Cynthia is getting increasingly upset, Netta and Song get into an argument where Netta seems to be convinced Song raised Cyn and wants them arrested, neither is true.

Hi there! After reviewing the logs, this appears to be IE on the part of Netta Foegle. ODing someone is considered lethal force for the purpose of CM rules, and the logs don’t indicate any justification for either the Exceptional Circumstances or Injury & Risk to Life exemptions to apply.

Based on the logs and the player’s note history, the report will be resolved with a Heavy Warning for IE applied to the player’s record.
