his is where RP comes from. Im marine main but when capped I 100% of the time go xeno.

You can be sure that when I switch sides I’ll "my queen"s a lot. I’ll check what the hive needs and I will try my best as xeno as well. I got medals and jellies.

I don’t care if I’m marine or xeno, I just want to be the best I can be at whatever side I’m playing.

of course xenos don’t immediately respawn when they die, they immediately respawn when THEY get captured, and play as a human infant for the rest of the round duh

Bumping this. I still stand by this idea. Why do Marines get to enjoy 2 consecutive lives, “cheating” Xenos out of their rightful larva queue slot?

From a conceptual point? Yeah, it’s cool and all that the marine gets to play the larba for which he was the host.

Now, from a point of gameplay and fairness, like @ihatethisengine said, cutting into the queue should just not be a thing. It makes the queue feel neverending. The argument of “well now there are 2 larva” doesn’t exist, if there are 2 larva, both should go to ghost.

And to be clear, I am not saying marines should not be given larva. They should, once their turn in the queue arrives! But when you get capped? You should go to the very end of the queue like everyone else does when they die.

How does it make sense that a xeno who dies doesn’t have a second immediate chance, but a marine who dies does? The system is inequivocally unfair for xeno players.

As has been previously said, not all captured marines are going to take the slot.

It probably wouldn’t be too hard to PR this yourself, I don’t think it’d get merged but you could at least get a definitive answer.

I mean put it this way, xenos can ghost and take foxtrot spawns or ERT. Is that ‘stealing’ slots?

Anyho half of the captures xenos get are from what can feel extremely unfightable round removal as a marine. Thinking here screech and runner drags, corner woys, hugger trap bullshittery, all of which the defense amounts to sit away from the front and dont push ever or hope people around you are quick on their fingers. While marines have in a way ‘softly’ got second chances from defibbing and all you have what, 5-10 foxtrot slots else your waiting up to an hour or more for another chance to play the video game the style you want to. Most marine players dont play xeno for one reason or another in that they dont like playing that style of gameplay loop. Xenos get back in the game a lot more than marines do by my line of logic.

This sounds super dumb but I honestly think you would get way more burrowed larva because Marines will just shut the game off instead of waiting to revive as xeno. Since their player pool is so much larger, I think it would actually negatively affect hive numbers
