You don’t understand guys, giving all marines the ability to instantaneously pick up people with absolutely no delay with roller beds is OK and perfectly balanced, but giving them an objectively worse method of standing still for a solid second, adding an extra 2 seconds where of which they must upgrade the grab to aggressive and then sprite-drag it FIRST is clearly overpowered!!!
A real marine clearly doesn’t have the muscle strength to pick up fellow wounded or dead marines, not to mention gasp if a xeno were to stun a marine fireman carrying, they would DROP the marine and be forced to stand still for 3 seconds again, whereas a rollerbed marine can simply prime the sprite-drag and instantaneously start moving at Mach 5 again!
Clearly, marines fireman carrying is completely broken, but marines with roller beds is completely fine.
Still don’t get what’s the issue with fireman carry. Xenos can hit your when your 3 tiles behind cades (vanguard) Two tap tackle you(defender) and decap you(woyer)
A marine only has 1 skill which is firearm skill and adding another one everyone begins exaggerating. Heck I don’t know why every marine isn’t trained to drive a van.

its already enough of a system where fireman carry is less agile than just Funny Bed, even if it saves you a storage and can’t be killed by someone accidentally blasting it or a xeno attacking it
like if you need to defend yourself or something, then you drop them, draw, and then you gotta pick up…
rollers can just be shoved along with a weapon in hand and not wielded too
Medic players need to know that me, the SO, is far more important and if I wanted to I could be doing their job if I wasn’t fragging with my tac shotty and mk1
I made a PR for this, hopefully it’ll get testmerged or whatever to see whether it’ll work or not.
Here’s to hoping? I think the number of roles who get the fireman skill will probably be cut down though.
