Exactly what it says on the tin. Let the comms channel for sentry guns work even if the comms towers aren’t active. If the laptop is deployed, that is. It’s so fun and soul to get advanced warning on xeno assaults of defensible areas but the channel hardly sees good use time with lack of comms. Anywho. Free my companion sentry laptop from the eternal pit of never being used.

I always thought laptop should have it’s own wireless router to connect to the sentries, feels weird it uses comms channel when it’s a completely different feed. Just like how the camera role works, I can’t see any reason why not.
