So Ill start off with, I play BOTH sides on CM, so its gonna have multiple points.
Firstly,

Why cant xenos place weed on grass? It… is so stupid that half the map is just, not usable by xenos.
Secondly,
The god fucking damn JUNGLE is so messy? It has so many deadends for, quite literally, no reason.
Thirdly,
The sensor tower, is in such an insane spot, It goes off the first point with xenos being unable to weed near it, and it being, stupidly unachievable by marines due to its location.
Finally
LZ2 and its constant usage even though it is a stupidly small FOB

The colony is so seperate from the barrens side that marines literally have free reign over the colony unless there is a robust backliner team of xenos who manage to control the colony.
Which is very rare considering once a tunnel is destroyed, its near impossible to get there without facing a marine.
Id argue that corp dome is easier to fortify because the grass.
Xenos cant weed on grass, meaning if they approach the cades set up in corpo, they have to heavily rely on the pathways being weeded, which is easily destroyed.
Cant also effectively wall and door on the pathways as they are only three wide, meaning, single wide corridors
Corp dome is by no way easy to defend, the corners make it an easy way to get grabbed and tackled away. Theres no lights on the grass and boilers are litterally the death of such holds. Also the walls are breakable by T3’s which spawn at 00:20 (marines sometimes don’t drop until 00:25 or later) Even then theres tail stabs which makes it so your not in range of buckshot PB’s. Oh yeah, and if you get breached you have no plan B to run out off. You either fight unless you get the lucky security spawn that has C4. Especially since the nerf that removes shutters so survs have to build faster than light to cover the walls that can get breached and repair the eastern cades, also xeno’s found the meta to place a cluster and walls then an acid pillar behind it to bypass our funny fire.
robo fob can be sieged from many different locations and although not weedable directly through any direction but corpdome, there is an indestructible wall surrounding said fob behind which xenos can weed on sand and heal with very strong recov pheros
cargo fob can be sieged from all west-based positions no problems with weeds there
You and me got a different view on flanking the fob. When i see the “front” of the fob i see the red lines on the maps, since most marines are gonna be stationed around there when they are under siege. The blue lines is what i see as actual flanks, since its either to the side or behind the front, but both of those places are basicly unweedable unless you break through the cades.
