Make autopsies on dead marines give a tiny amount of intel.

Title. Incentivizes both recovery of dead marines and gives doctors something to do in their downtime (which has become increasingly more prevalent since FD was added). Also serves to make autopsy actually something that actually gets done more often instead of once in a blue moon. Hopefully will also mean since bodies are being recovered that their tags will be taken to memorial so we get a list of names instead of just one or two guys, or what’s more often the case: Nothing.

This shouldn’t really be a game changing amount, I don’t know exactly what it would look like. I’m not familiar with the numbers, but it should be something that only has round impact if an appreciable amount of bodies are brought up.

Love this idea and I’d actually be okay with the bodies themselves giving no intel until autopsied? Unless it’s very late in the game and two rifleman are collecting them specifically to grind out intel (and likely a crafty MT/CE/ASO/IO has hacked into the morgue because otherwise they sit outside all round), they aren’t too significant in the scheme of 20 Points To Nuke

A little something for the nurses who now are, in fact, so used to sitting in the pharmacy that they’re now GOOD at chemline??? + morgue scrub usage is cool

The ideal scenario here is that there’s a process you have to go through, it could certainly be more sophisticated than simply ‘do autopsy.’

The maximum point you could go through for this is:

  • Body comes up
  • Body goes to morgue
  • Body gets autopsied (possibly one or all limbs, maybe even with a rework of how autopsies are done to be more than 2 clicks)
  • Autopsy report gets put in new machine or spot in intel office.
  • Body gets put in morgue tray
  • Tags get put on memorial

each one of these individually could give a tiny portion of the total, or some of them could give them and others not. The obvious ones to do it are the autopsy report being turned in, the body being in a tray with a bodybag, and the tags being put on the memorial.

dead bodies should generate 1 intel per hour of the round which would be pretty decent at hour 2 standstill but its definitely a marine buff

Good idea.
