I swtich SL tracker when they die for one simple reason. I dont care about you at all as a person in any way shape or form i only care about people going the right direction. Plus i tell medics to recover people dosent matter if it’s the SL or not. So i dont need a big arrow pointing to one guy to tell them to do that.
Most SL rarely do any leading. They are useful when they act as a line from CIC to ground. The main thing SL are good for is providing a arrow that tells other marine where to go.
So I always make sure that arrow is pointing in the right direction. If you’r dead in the right spot i may keep you as SL. But if you are in the wrong spot sorry buddie your not SL anymore.
Once you’r back in the right spot you are SL agian. I have found that when done right it helps keep the death ball focused. A lot of the time marine just gravitate to wherever the arrow is pointing. I give call outs yes and proratize finding a FTL who is in the right spot i need.
If alpha needs to go north and SL is south. Sorry buddie you’r FTL who went where i need is SL now so shut up and get moving. Oh and also PVT is down to you’r NE go help him.
