Ode: To The Evac

Oh come be, the first toll.
The heavens call, fallen on thy.
We give, fellows bodies be.

Thy toll rise, ringing three.
We give, our bodies be.
For not but, bone and seared hide, are we.

Oh come be, the final toll.
The heavens call, forsaken are we.
For hath not, strength to move be.

Thy toll rise, high above.
We gave, our bodies be.
For not but, iron and spent blood, we be.

Oh come be, the last call.
As thy sky falls, on we.
Scorched iron and fiery brimstone, cleanse are we.
For is it not good, to bring our foes with be?

random parts in the ode make it hard to sing :frowning:

Oh come be, the final toll.
The heavens call, forsaken are we.
For hath not, strength to move be

the heavens call is a great line but forsaken are we makes it hard to sing

True… i had a harder one with this one. not my proudest works.

Frankly i messed up the word count on “For hath not, strength to move be.” its 7 where as “For not but, iron and spent blood, we be.” and “For not but, bone and seared hide, are we.” are 9 words and then “Scorched iron and fiery brimstone, cleanse are we.” is 8 words…much to random.

“For not but, bone and seared hide, are we.” has 9 syllables but “For not but, iron and spent blood, we be.” has 10 syllables…

know what next time i really do need to count the syllables everything is all over the place. (BTW i just sing it off vibe base hence why its all over the place… some times you can hit the nail on the head other time you miss.)
