Well since they wear animal skins and hold spears I think most marines would call them tribles. I mean they do look like a exaggerated version a mesolitic person. If I saw that in real life thats what I would assume they are.
Since they kinda look human but are obviously not you could call them hominin’s. For reference a hominid is what things like neanderthal or cro-magnon where. For super high rp confusion name this newly discoverd species after the colony you found it on.

My solution, we toe the line. Call them Caribbeans. With this, we can anger the dingus who had to force thing needless change, but not break the rules because it’s too vague to go after. Or, we can simply call them “dreadlocks”. Dreadlocks are a hair style from different cultures from different time periods. Eventually the sheer silliness of the argument will kill any debate.

As much as I hate the xeno no x words roleplay ruling this is one I’m very glad to see. Like, aside from the obvious racial undertones calling enemies Jamaicans, who’s gonna see a death monster and have that as their first thought? Pure LRP/OOC naming. Glad it’s been banished.

Only took 5 years and three forums. CM can change. Now time to ask to denote “Dreadlocks” as it has slightly racist undertone and kind of LRP as you wouldn’t call a 2+ meters tall monster just “Dreadlocks”. See you back in 2030!

There are many terms we can use:
Monkes/gibbons/gorillas (mandatory gorilla warfare joke here), lizards, tribals/cavemen, greatsword weaboos weirdos, mutants/inbreds, edgelords
Sad issue with those words is that nobody will understand what you’re talking about (without a proper context). The only word that can compete with “Jamaican” in terms of clarity would be “pred”, so I’ll go with that one
