Give sniper the ability to toggle IFF.
SG gets the ability to toggle it,
CO gets the ability to toggle it
(MP’s get the ability to toggle it)
The sniper should aswell.
Primarily because the sniper should have the ability to also deny caps (lawd forbid he aims head 
)
Also punishes xeno’s for not capping behind their defences and capping in open ground.

Uhhhhhh tbh the reason you gave is the only REAL need for non-IFF and i’m not sure waht mods and devs make of it but i really like the high degree of customizability of the snipers in general so one more button toggle seems right in that vein
