Get pounced by lurker, lurker proceeds to drag you to narnia and is somehow more efficient at dragging compared to a warrior. I would dare say 100% better as marine remains stunned even if the lurker gets interrupted. Every day I experience the same shit of being pounced then dragged. Its super fucking cheesy that you allow lurker to retain their invis speed bonus after a pounce which I believe that allows this to happen. (Nevermind on that comment that PR was untest merged recently)

Shoutout to the lurker players that stand on top of corpses to take advantage of lurkers increased grab stun to just carry them away. That’s real sick gameplay.

Pretty sure every xeno gets the grab cancelling stun, just lurker can troll you with it cause they’re invisible.

It’s not that lurkers are faster draggers than warriors. It’s that warriors get a heftier speed debuff to dragging than any other caste.
Doesn’t work anymore.

they also give Lurker a 100 second slowdown just in case you wanted to try get away

Lurker pounce rework hasn’t even been TM’d for a week or so now, so this is how lurker has been for the past few years.
A lurker CAN pounce and drag a marine like they’re playing warrior, yes. However, they don’t have anything that warrior gets, they don’t get a 2nd stun/displacement (Fling), they have less hp, no armor, and no lifesteal at all (which roughly translates to 80~ more hp for the warrior depending on how many marines there are).
Even in this clip, despite you needing to reload your mk2, you nearly critted the lurker before going down,

yeah this, given you were basically alone (left behind by le retreat, sad) and there was a crusher blocking aid, you did pretty well 1v1 against the lurker. Frankly, lurkers basically always win 1v1s against almost every player, so it’s not really unexpected.
