Ah yes, so simple “just don’t get into 4 tiles of any door, or corner, unless you are sure there are no warriors around” counterplay.
You know counterplay against double-buckshot PB? Simply never approach any marine unless you are sure they are not carrying a shotgun loaded with buckshot.
And at this point I guess maintainers agreed with warrior being too good at capping so that they allowed two straight nerfs to its ability to cap from lunge.
Work with team to clear dark areas, let them go first if you trust yourself to shoot warrior off but dont trust them to shoot warrior off you
Fighting one warrior is easy it really just means you have to play the game properly and weigh your risks and be aware (use binocs and flares for example, clear doors so they cant hide, play with team and be aware of your limits solo, etc). If warrior is good they will be able to fling before you pb a lot of the time, so you can shake your allies to make sure they are safe easily too unless they are horrendously overextended or you are zoned out or slowed or w/e
remember slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Play at a pace you’re comfortable with, learn from your mistakes.
You’re right that warriors are great at defending from single marines. Theres not much you can do about it except being the guy who helps your teammates and thus wins terrain if you are unable to weigh your risks well and make really bad plays like pushing a warrior alone with no support into death choke. I personally think warrior is fine its the only caste that can really stop someone from just chasing every single kill, juust because of the risk of running into them solo. In backline and stuff, warrior is evil, but thats part of the game. In groups of warriors, warrior sucks to fight (i hate how hard it scales with multiple warriors). Groupfights are the most fun part of the game, it really depends on your resources on how painful it will be to fight, just like anything
But there is counterplay to every single interaction that just becomes second nature once you get used to it.
I was actually thinking of trying to port “Movie-like Crit” or whatever the PR was titled allowing downed Marines to yell for help and shit until they’re fully dead. I like it a lot and it makes defibs fit better and um it’s cool and um kino??!

Xenos have a hard enough time capping as is. The trade-off for 2 larva burst is they can’t tunnel with marines anymore. They need to give xenos new and effective ways to get caps outside of queen scree runner meta. Like ohh… idk… bringing back some old carrier abilities? So the capping Caste, designed, evolved and raised to cap… can you know… cap?
Xenos need to organize like a fully trained swat team. Eggs/traps on the front, prae pull into warrior fling with tactical precision right into an egg.
And marines will be like “This needs a nerf. no skill”
