Like the tin says- because Vans are cool could be usable by Req and others, and it’s not exactly a huge buff as much as a huge QoL for departments that make use of it-
CC with a news van, Req transporting empty crates from Hangar, CL, uh, doing CL things.
theres the cargo tug but it can’t transport crates now - fixing it to actually work would be a better solution than letting marines buy trucks
Let’s take the van, make it 2x2, and allow it to load two crates in the back, but half the speed.
There is currently a PR up on the Github that aims to add a Humvee. It isn’t exactly a van, and the PR doesn’t have much information, but its something :).
A special pack to install TV monitors in the backseat to entertain the marines so they stop throwing things at each other and shut up and watch sesame street
An actual van would be pretty powerful. Probably fixes to make the cargo tug actually functional would be better. Besides, dropping ten grand on the CC or CL is a lot when there’s lots of other stuff to buy.
Now, being able to buy some dingy little vehicle from the black market…that could be funny.
I miss the req truck, how they were adding it was kinda meh, but it was such a fun idea. I loved driving down to the frontline as RO doing front delivery. and MPs couldn’t do anything since the truck and inside the truck was considered the req department.
