it is only a game please move on i am just venting into the void rq so i stop whining IC about it

if i spend 15 minutes prepping, then we don’t deploy for another 21 minutes because the CO had to have a 16 minute private briefing with the SLs to explain his plan of “bravo FOB, alpha delta front, charlie comms then front” – i should be allowed to immediately mutiny. if you think that description is hyperbole you are incorrect sadly

i dont care that there isnt a rule about it, making 85% of the server (this includes xenos) wait until 00:36 for the actual game to start is insane

to an extent i agree for the really bad cases. Nothing will happen because the people who do it are HRP’ers. I dont mind waiting 5 minutes beyond 0020, but anything beyond that is too much, even for the RPers.

i’ve had a 0030-0035 deployment the past 3 ops i’ve played with 1 specific CO, ot the point where it feelsl ike it must be trolling

i do not maintain that extremely shallow milsim LARP with 0 depth that 90% of the server can’t engage in because they aren’t even invited is a thing worth defending

it is a waste of people’s valuable time

Who cares if a few riflemen get invited to brief? Everyone outside of SLs will probably deviate from the orders and do their own thing anyways

Tab out of the game while in Alamo, watch youtube and tab back in every couple of minutes. You cant really do anything if CIC decides to do a 44 drop except send an ahelp which is gonna get marked as IC issue and then sulk. Pre-drop Mutinies dont really work in current ruleset, cause queen can call down Alamo at 00:45 to end the round in hijack if marines dont deploy(last I checked, 3 months ago), so unless you are really fast at killing the CO\XO and appointing a new aCO to lead before queen can grab a hold of that console, its automatic game over for marines. Xenos generally both suffer and thrive on late drops, cause they get more prep time BUT unless they are a builder they are genuinely doing jackshit if they were clearing the colony pre-T3s and all survs are long since rotting.
There is nothing we can do…
