While this is a boon for both REQ and Engineering, it still keeps the same problem for Intel. In that its a role thats going to be 50% of the time decrypting intel, with 10% of the time flying/coordinating dropships (Both GP and DP are very independant, to the point I find DCCs kinda useless), and 40% of the time relaying between REQ and CIC because you need atleast 2 people to yell between them so they listen.
At best you get someone that’s a middleman between CIC and the rest of the ship, and at worst just ASO with less rank.
