Helping people push crates by pushing them (while doing saying conga all the way).
Taking dead people’s stuff and bringing them back, preferably before they get melted. We all know a unga’s soul resides in their weapon and it being destroyed permas their souls.
Bringing cas flares and letting cas deploy fireworks on the frontline (if the roofing permits).
Bringing useful stuff for req or in a crate you bring yourself to the front (ammo, SG drums, foldables, MREs, flares, LOADED spare weapons with easily available attachies).
Splinting your fellow brothers.
Taking the time to destroy resin.
Creating lights on the road
Actually using your light replacer to not have to constantly use flares on the roads.
Use a soap and janitor places, it’s much easier on the eyes and makes it easier for both you and xenos to spot and click each other.
Constantly emptying the shipside vendors of useful stuff as it refills and putting them in the vendor’s rigs (kits, defibs, pills, stasis bags)
Depositing piles of f̶l̶o̶o̶r̶ pills for people to self-serve (and maybe refill their pill packets, haven’t tested that out).
Being on intel chatter and relaying to your squad if they’re in trouble.
Passing food to the people that didn’t bring theirs.
Shaking people up and saving them from xeno’s claws (careful not to grab the xeno instead and being stunned for 10sec)
Having a roller bed ready to move people faster.
Becoming the carrier to the buddy that lost their foot through the usage of a rolling chair (Especially great for SGs, engies with brutes and SADAR to cosplay as a tank).
Simply not being a dick and being cooperative, so long as it isn’t harmful. Bonus points if it’s for something silly.
Digging those sandbags/tunnels.
Doing your damndest to make sure your lads don’t get round ended.
Grabbing a wrench and salvaging a crap ton of metal.
When someone gets facehugged, make sure to grab their helmet and gun for them, as many people use optics in their helmet that cannot be replaced, and guns may have scarce attachments.
When paying the drone tax, place clusters and maybe even a morpher near typical frontline holds for a much beefier defense
Spitter, praetorian, and boiler all have the acid spray ability which will stick to cades for damage over time. This can be spammed fast enough that comtechs cannot repair it. You can also hit a full line of Cades if fired from behind the cade. This ability alone can win sieges.
As medic if you have nothing else to do, scan people without full health; IB can be present even in green health marines until blood loss sets in. I have caught it early many times by being proactive.
If using an automatic, don’t lay on the trigger as it will increase your spread to the point you miss most of your shots. Do bursts, and if they’re more than 4 tiles out you can tap fire almost as fast for full accuracy with sprite clicks. I’ve killed many a xeno I would’ve otherwise missed doing this.
Hedgehog ravs are fully dependent on their overshield to survive, and will die very quickly without it. Bodyblocking a hedgehog that blew its shield will almost always kill it.
Acid runner has a countdown on the status tab when you activate the explosion. Use this counter for accurate runs, trying to count yourself will always be wrong due to lag. Charge at about 6 seconds.
You can carry 2 injectors in your helmet, I always take 3 cosmetics and an emergency injector.
Check permad marines belts and armor, you’d be amazed how often you find multiple mags of AP.
When playin warrior, pounce has a miss cooldown, fling does not. If your target is fast spam fling to slow or wallbang them for a free pounce. Bonus points if they drop their gun. This also works with vanguard praetorian.
Tail stab has a chance to strike over barbed Cades. You can use this as an acid runner to get more acid from Cade huggers or during sieges. Tier 3 rouny/boiler acid will destroy a normal Cade in about 10 seconds.
3 single lines of resin are far more deadly then one line of optimized resin. Build accordingly for the occasion.
If you are fighting a xeno and escape is not an option, NEVER run away in a straight line as it makes you an easy target and you will be combod and killed quickly. Run circles around the xeno erratically and they will miss far more giving you a chance to win.
Warriors like to camp dead marines to land pounces. If there is no other way to get to the marine, act like you are going to walk up and drag them then instantly redirect to try and bait the warrior to miss the pounce, and only then go to drag the marine away.
I just want to bring some attention to a mechanic that doesn’t seem to be very well known - critdrag. If you drag a human who is in a lot of pain, either from high damage (critical status) or from certain other sources like missing a limb, you risk killing them. Sometimes it’s your only choice or worth the risk, but many times, it’s better to use another method to move them. Marines can safely move someone by fireman-carry or by roller bed. Xenos can safely move their captures using haul. Another benefit is that you can move faster using these methods, after the initial set-up time.

-Accidentally commit Friendly Fire on superior officers.
-Inject Corpsman patients with EZ Tramadol Injectors & Run away without checking or elaborating.
-Remove attachments from unconscious marines guns and throw them away.
-install claymores inside the FOB cades facing them where enemies will set them.
-If the OT makes incendiary claymores, install them on top of the deployed ammo boxes in the FOB & Front.
-Report false information over radio channels.
-Shoot barricades a couple of times when no one is around.
-In firefights accidentally set the cades on fire.
-Launch crates to the wrong coords or relay the wrong coords to CIC & Req.
-Send empty ammo boxes, send lots of niche ammo and grenades nobody takes instead of actual supplies.
-Use an incinerator to set full ammo boxes on fire
-Empty out MRE boxes of food or hide them in places like tall grass.
-Spend Req points on random crates that are not useful but sound useful so newbies will approve.
-Mislabel Medicine
-Forget about marines in Cryo
-Don’t unload corpses
-Accidentally OD officers
-Mislabel stims
-Put OD excessive amounts of stims into custom injectors and hand them out.
-Vend everything out of medvendors, tool vendors, & electronic vendors.
-Fill a salt shaker with alcohol preferably ethanol. Inject food full of it to get marines drunk.
-Cook poisonous fish into appealing dishes.
-Steal & Hide the MREs shipside. Throw them down ASRS.
-Ignore Intel waiting for processing
-Misplace unprocessed intel
-Put research documents on clipboards & throw them away
-Mislabel custom OT explosives- Labelers can be built inside of Autolathes. Remove existing labels by entering a blank label.
-Split metal & plasteel stacks into single sheets so engineers ignore them.
-Fill a high capacity beaker with UNGA. Splash it out on the ground. Repeat until the UNGA is gone.
-Create explosives with 0 Containers.

The people who load up ammo boxes before first drop and bring spare ammo/flares/supplies to the first fight with the xenos hold a special place in my heart. You da best
if you see a teammate xeno in critical health running to you and you both are in a tight corridor like 1 or 2 tiles wide, instead of you both bodyblocking eachother ,you to let him pass and him to dodge you, it might be wise for you to instead lie down that way he can just step over you and then you get up and block bullets for him, fight marines chasing him or whatever
Shake Marines up from stuns/grabs. Especially Queen screeches. Yes, you could shoot them on your own if you run in after a screech, or you could shake up the Marines so ten of you can
