Weird looking crab found in lizard enclosure? (IMAGE ATTACHED)

Hi. First time posting in the Lizard Lovers forum.

I really love my little lizard. He’s got a bit of a temper, likes hitting things in his enclosure, but he’s such a silly little guy. I do have some worries though, because I’ve recently found a weird species of crab in his enclosure. Is it safe to keep there? I don’t wanna fish it out until I get the confirmation, my little lizard friend is a bitey one. I don’t want it to be poisonous to eat or anything, so I just really wanted to make sure.

Please, look at the attached picture and give me some feedback, fellow Lizard Lovers.

I recently found one of these around my house too, they tend to like the dark and damp places. They may seem dormant but they tend to jump around without warning, I put a leash on mine by attaching it to the tail, going to see how it goes.

That’s a really interesting idea! If it hasn’t hurt you yet, I guess there’s no harm in trying. Gonna test that out too, I’ll get back to you all soon!

Have you tried feeding the lizard? Maybe it’s just hungry.

Do not feed. Incinerate.

That’s animal abuse dude. Not cool. This is the Lizard LOVERS forum, not the Lizard HATERS forum. Ur downvoted pal. :-1:
