weird popping in headphones / static in speakers when moving through the almayer?

title

i’d upload a video but i’ve no way to confirm if it’s just me or not. i never noticed this with my laptop speakers, but on my PC using either speakers or headphones, I get popping in my ears as I move across the Almayer (ghosted, moving horizontally) or static in speakers, happens also when playing back a recording

wondering mostly if anyone knows of anything to stop this, aside from “don’t move through the almayer as a ghost”, thanks

Almayer ‘room tone’ has a lot of bass. You either have low-end headphones that ‘make an effort’ to reproduce the low end and your volume turned up too high, or high-end headphones and you have something loose rattling around inside.

I experienced this same thing and switching from my budget Steelseries to my Sennheisers completely eliminated this popping sound

Cool to hear the quality in action
