Get a bucket, get a grinder, put all meal trays into grinder and grind, pour nutrients into a canteen and drink https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/626678119931052043/1269421154523807774/image-18.png?ex=66b00013&is=66aeae93&hm=1c6bf932a5580799c9a916f2f7223dc37e896e4d30789a4fef8a2d287fffc185& see this

Cornbread-tofu-pizza-paste sounds pretty nutritional to me!

This is a regular activity when I am playing doctor, researcher, nurse, and medic. Iā€™m that nerd.

The table salt in the cheeseburger is a relaxant, and will slow you down. Non-optimal!

  Salt is Relaxing 1, so you wont even notice, but you can swap the burger with a meta food of your choice.

This is nuts. I demand a reagent grinder be placed in squad preps ASAP. We need to accommodate all marines, not just those with functioning teeth and jaws.

Alsoā€¦ I imagine this is a known quantity with research mains, but you can do this with a cryo tube (as long as a cryo chem is present). And it turns out the CMO has access to the kitchen. Apparently vegetable matter, protein, and all that jazz work topically.

Is this useful? Doubtful ā€“ you can achieve the same thing much faster with the canteen method or pills. Will it be funny to tell marines the mix du jour before hip-tossing them into a sub-zero brunswick stew? Iā€™m optimistic.

Now time for the real question: can a flask of nutriment/vegetables/protein/whatever contain more nutrition than an MRE?

We need to optimize the fun out of food!

UPD: Alright, apparently each MRE contains 26u of nutriment and 2u of sugar (ā‰ˆ 27u of nutriment). Since flask can contain 60u - one flask of nutriment equals two MREs, while taking less space in your inventory. Itā€™s also much easier to use. The flask of corn oil is even better

So, technically, you can use the maint ladder to break into kitchen and grow some corn. Or simply grind protein bars if you donā€™t want to bother/donā€™t have the time for it

They locked kitchen access from maint now, itā€™s so overā€¦

I used to make homemade alcohol in a flask pre-deployment but I canā€™t have that anymore either

Wait, really? I swear I stumbled into this ladder not too long ago and it still workedā€¦ Are you sure they blocked it?

Well, even if they did - we still have the chef himself, along with medics, researchers and OTs

Itā€™s still 2 nutriment bars, even though they taste of cockroach and cardboard in that specific order.

One full satchel of protein bars on a grinder, and you get yourself exactly 120u of Nutriments that you can use for pills or any desired outcome.
