I personally liked it since it wasn’t 30 people talking at once, and I could go 5 minutes away from it and I wouldn’t be 500 lines down.

Only having two channels (cm-discussion and LRC) for discussing CM on the… CM discord is kinda insane. It was a good channel, feels like it got removed because one person happened to not use it. Meanwhile book-club hasn’t had a message in it in a month.

From what i have seen (tho i obviously wasn’t reading everything that was posted there 24/7) xeno posting has been mostly used to talk about new xeno castes, xenos qol changes and other coding stuff related to xenos with some banter and talking about some things that happened in the game.

From time to time someone asked for help or advices about how to play certain caste or xeno in general.

The only “bad” thing I can remember was salting by that dude who got quality control ban.

I see. But the salting of one guy whom I assumed was subsequently banned from the Discord would not necessarily be worthy of removing an entire channel. Are you able to elaborate more?

From what I understand, it got removed because;

  1. A couple of dudes were discussing another dudes changing of names like it’s gossip.
  2. There was a lot of salt in the chat about marines/survs/whatever
  3. Too much ideaguysing (quote from thwomp), which I personally never saw as a bad thing.

Management can correct it, but that’s what I got from them talking about it.
