i mean, all these cosmetics are nice, but why not just have them selectable from the flavour menu by default as Pugie said. Or literally any other progression system, PLEASE, because if this is real, you’re gonna have a crap ton of players ignoring orders, ignoring their squad leads, ignoring wounded marines, ignoring the queen’s orders ignoring literally everything regarding the objective, to go after some stupidly specific task to get a fucking ghost icon. Just have XP or whatever given after every round/ x amount of time in game if you really want some form of progression.

This isn’t even hypothetical to CM, everyone knows how many xeno players would kill a marine instead of capping just for the most kills at the end, now add in actual tangible rewards for this, and now it’s a lot harder to order xenos to cap instead of killing.

Depending on how this is implemented and whatever objectives are given, this could have a genuinely horrible effect on squad/hive cohesion.
