CM Main, 1 month. CM PvE, I think a month? They don’t use ARES so I didn’t get a DM telling me how long it lasts.

Reason for Ban

I do not know. I suspect it has something to do with my persona, BBLOCKMAN.exe.

Appeal

A few hours ago I wanted to watch the show “BARRY” with my friend. They were playing CM PvE at the time so I thought it’d would be funny to make a creepypasta version of the titular character, Barry. Attached is this image.

It took 30 seconds to make and I don’t believe it to be graphic at all. I sent it 4 or 5 times in the PvE general chat to my friend and other people who I am loosely acquainted. I did not take the matter too seriously when I was banned from PvE, shortly after going to CM-Discussion in the main server to post this image once more and ping my friend with a message along the lines of “they are trying to keep you from saving me”.

I was doing a joke with my friend who thought it was funny in a public space. I play these games and there was a time where I talked in the discords very often. Behavior like this is common in both the PvE and PvP discord. I’ve done this kind of stuff before and faced no backlash. My friends do this kind of stuff often and face no backlash. I fail to see what the difference was between business-as-usual and what I did. I was not warned formally in any way, with the only sense of a warning being somebody saying “Dude you’ve been spamming that for hours.” I had in fact, not been spamming it for hours, as I only sent it like 6 times. Whatever.

If you got in trouble for it on the PvE Discord, why would you immediately come to the PvP Discord and do the exact same thing? Genuine question.

I didn’t think anybody would mind seeing as the bit was harmless and I figured it would make my friend laugh. My friend did in fact laugh, but apparently somebody did mind.

This doesn’t answer the question. If people on PvE were bothered, and action was taken, why did you do it on PvP as well?

Because I didn’t think anybody would care because the joke was harmless and I wanted to make my friend laugh. There’s no deeper reasoning, I wasn’t trying to troll or cause outrage or something I was just doing a bit with my friend to make him laugh.
