Description of the incident:
hey! im abober, and i play Gary Kumar. Gary does not much fancy neither police nor the company. usually taking on support and shipside roles, he is there to help and assist fellow marines. now, it would only make sense then, if Gary would overlook and sometimes even partake in harmless and victimless pranks like snatching someones boots or breaking some window somewhere
to the incident. the atmosphere is cheerful in the medbay lobby, the 5+ present marines are celebrating the victory that had just (or just about to have) occurred. im doing a fistbump routine with a marine Gary knows very well IC, someone is pulling, etc.
cop appears out of nowhere, following no procedure, pepper spraying, and belittling and cursing at me and other marines, one of which i had just revived minutes ago. he does not even follow up with an explanation, or an arrest attempt. just uses the spray and lies down on a stretcher. other hurt marines are obviously upset as well
it would be in character for Gary to want to have an outlet for retaliation for this kind of injustice. now, if there was a chance to talk it out, or appeal to the aCO, i wouldve taken that route, but i got rendered defenceless, and berated out of the blue
i only made the choice to stab the cop at all after taking into consideration that we were in medbay, and given damage can be fixed easily the cop wouldnt even die, since we were surrounded by medics. if i could go through an IC legal battle following this incident i (and Gary, im sure) gladly would
now, i am not surprised a cop roleplayer would ahelp this two minutes before the restart. it is disheartening, however, that a moderator is taking their side and even willing to distort the facts
from my standpoint, cop followed no procedure, escalated the situation from nothing happening to pepper spray with no warning, so i just escalated it even further
from what i can see on the forums, my chances of getting a note lifted are close to zero
so, at the very least, it would be nice to change the wording on the note, where it appears as if i was resisting a lawful arrest, to something resembling “used lethal weapon in a non lethal fight with a hostile mp”
i dont need this note lifted, as im not currently planning on applying to any WL, but id hate to have a fake note on my record regardless
