We’re in space, we need law enforcement, NASA is a space agency, NASA has a swat team, therefore we should have a NASA swat team.

kicking doors (airlocks?) down would probably be the job of the Space Force, whatever that is in the Aliens Universe

also NASA SWAT teams are generally ever used to protect federal installations as a sort of “QRF”, since obviously local SWAT would not have jurisdiction there
