Pretty sure this is the 3 time making a post like this, Marines need more drip, firstly cavalry Stetson hats for pilots or a tank crews blue jeans and different shoes like leather boots are tennis shoes camo ponchos. and different patches like country flags or pride flags and most importantly the addition of a fully working Camera ear piece to SL equipment vendors
“SERGEANT COLBERT! This is what happens when you don’t enforce the groomin’ standards. The mens gets all lax, and another standard falls. Devil dog here stops using his chinstrap, goes over a bump, kevlar goes flyin’ off his head, and our pro-tek-tive posture… is weakened!”
There was an argument that it actually did have a hidden armour stat, the same with the parkas on Chance’s Claim. Remove the armour stat and simply let people decide to be glass if they wish.
A few gigachad PFCs did indeed use it but it came at the cost of dying quicker than normal and medics benefitted from this a lot, those of us who decided to run sidearms only anyway.
I see no reason to not re-introduce the service jacket with the proposed change.
It was a nice bit of adding aesthetic variety that wasn’t intrusive too.
You goofy goober, I’ll tell you what what if I compile a list of US Marine kit used in Vietnam since that is the essence of The colonial marines and put out a bounty for sprites?
the only good suggestion here would be ponchos and those are in the game
i dont want to be that guy but seeing marines more uniformed rather than civilians with guns enhances the experience for me but thats my opinion
no im not asking for capes and spartan armor, just more variation since the falling falcons are an un disciplened and underfunded company set on the outskirts of the UA’s territory i think it would be apporiate for more variation in uniforms since that is already the case just expand it more
