Yautja Character Story:
A group of Marines suddenly rush up and start shooting you. How do you respond?
Try to figure out if they think I was a hidden xeno like a lurker and, if they’re a hunting party meant to target predators, either stun them to retreat somewhere, or engage to kill them off, leaving their bodies recoverable if possible.
Another Yautja hunted and killed a target you had marked. What do you do?
Ask the other Yautja to explain himself, to rule out if they had to defend themselves from an attack by said marked target or if they decided to hunt it out of their own accord. If it was the latter, I’d more than likely demand a duel.
Do you have anything else you would like to include about your application?
I may have watched Predator 1 and 2 a bit too much as a kid.
i am going to be honest, every time i have seen you in deadchat it has been nothing but you raging or crashing out about something or someone, which isn’t an issue if it is not the only thing that you are known for - i get angry, my friends get angry, i say things in dchat sometimes that aren’t very nice, but it genuinely feels like you almost always take it too far or dwell on it for minutes at a time and keep on going and going about it
even just a few hours before you put this application in you were screaming at people in deadchat, it’s fine to get upset and it’s fine to be a bit vitriolic in dchat and upset but when it is the only thing that i can think of when your name comes up i do not see how you deserve to have the whitelist
Yeah, I do admit, I can get VERY salty when I die; however, it’s always as a marine/surv and due to deaths that are very infuriating, like another marine just staring at me getting captured, or another survivor not talking/cooperating at all, or something along those lines. I do remember you telling me, in dchat, to learn to take it easy when I die, and it’s something I’ve been trying to do in earnest: the round you’re mentioning is likely the one in which I called the PMC ERT “baldies” and told in all caps to the PMC spec, in dchat, about their rifle being able to shoot through walls, which is very tame when compared to things I’ve said in the past
Furthermore, I’d like to say I do not rage as a xeno or any role that can be considered “solo”, as my deaths as one are just a skill issue on my part. In short, I don’t rage whenever I die, just when the death was particularly stupid, and I’ve taken the advice of cooling down from people, you included, to heart.
The predator whitelist is by far the most influential when it comes to attention, it’s by far the most “opinionated whitelist” to a point where people will create new absurd slimy ways to end your round as quickly as possible with as low enjoyment possible. People will also hate on you in dchat for anything, even having the whitelist will upset the plebian rejects to try and bait you. How will you react to this?
I can deal with people trying to bait me or salting about me in dchat by either not responding or by replying without being an ass. That has never been a problem here for me, thankfully.
As for the slimy ways to end a pred’s round, I applied fully knowing, having seen it myself, that some players specifically target preds to end their round as fast as possible.
Knowing that, I’ve sort of made peace with the fact that I’ll likely die more than a few times and be targeted specifically for holding the whitelist.
