Byond has been getting attacked with DDOS attacks recently, i’ve been getting lag spikes more frequently as well. Not much we can do, nor can maintainers sadly.

Like a million times worse.
I’ll go from standing still in safety to accelerating through a massive powerpoint of me being captured, moved, and then nested to a wall within like four seconds.

been going through this, but way worser.
I’ll hit 4500ms for a solid 10 seconds and then it keeps increasing until the meter shits itself and I’m phasing through reality and having to think of my movements 10 seconds into the future so I don’t get capped while crossing the battlefield with no hope of changing direction for at least a millenia

That is awful to deal with.
I think it’s the common byond glitch where you walk forward repeatedly (I hate that bug so much). To solve it, you need to tap in the same direction you’re stuck walking in twice to break free.
If I’m wrong, then I’m really sorry you have to deal with that. I can’t imagine playing this game in 100+ ping, let alone 400.

No, it’s just your average lag: you press some keys → game does not react → you press the keys again and again, because your reptilian brain says so → game unlags and starts executing all of your previous inputs, while you can’t do anything but watch and pray
My game’s stuttering hard constantly, with consistent 70-120 ping and regular spikes to:
(Usually I phase through reality towards the nearest egg morpher)
And yes, those spikes have worsened recently. It might be because of DDOS, or my elderly router has finally decided to die, no idea

Biggest lag spike I have ever seen went from me on a beach, orange fish hook, runner reaching mach One running into hive, on a wall.

That is not it. If you hold a movement key and game lags a bit and you do not touch any other button, your input is stuck at that key, no “reptilian brain pressing keys again”.
