ARES should say it every time it’s online and everytime it gets shut down.
Barring a griefer, I dont see this spamming Command Channel.

I think it should just be alerting command when it’s being damaged/near it’s last hit before destruction, and not whenever it’s shut down
I agree with this…or at least ARES could say:
"ARES v3.2 [Command] States, “SYSTEMS REPORT: Colony communications link lost.”
Necroing this again too.
Happens too often, comms tower goes offline and shipside personel get blindsided by it. The newer the CIC the worse it gets.

Seems like a good QOL, and would also help with fixing comms and see what actually fixed it without saying ;test every time.
Trying to figure out how to do this in BYOND and after diving into the code a bit, its called only once when the objective (aka ground side comms) is fully activated, and then the entire process cuts off.
May or may not do this if I can figure out how to make it a standalone process.
