Why would you like to join the CM-SS13 staff team?
I would like to join the staff team for multiple reasons, firstly I would like to assist with maintaining the MRP standard of the server ensuring that the servers atmosphere is still /somewhat/ believable, secondly I would like to join so that I may be able to do things such as access log tools for assistance in council matters, lastly I would like to give back to the server that I have played on and off for the best part of four to five years.
What makes you a great addition to Staff? (Experienced Tabletop DM, Aliens Lore Buff, Super Organized, etc.?)
I am a big fan of aliens, I believe the cassette-futurism aspect of the world incredibly interesting and CM, as a server is the only medium that has been able to replicate the world but on a larger scale then that of Isolation and Dark Descent.
In your opinion, what is the most important quality of a CM-SS13 staff member?
I believe the most important quality of a CM staff member is patience.
+1 cassette futurism is fucking awesome and it needs to be in more movies. Soomis is a great person ICly and OOCly, they were trusted with council and every whitelist, i see absolutely no reason why they shouldn’t get a shot at mod. They’re pretty friendly with everyone on the discord, bonding with friends and strangers alike.

Soomis is a well known and respected member of the community, that has held and is still holding multiple important roles such as CO council. I believe they would make a fair staff member that isn’t seperated from the community.
Seen and interacted with Eleazar Vidal and can say they have good roleplay. Arryn/Soomis has been a veteran community member and CO for multiple years now. They had brief discord situation and lapse of judgment but apologized for their actions, been accepted back and have gone on to become a CO Council member since then. I’m sure they care about the state of the server and would put in the work as a moderator to enforce the rules and roleplay without issue. +1
+1. Ontop of what everyone here has already positively mentioned, I think soomis has great potential to add to CM some more, and trying to be more unique in my +1 is pretty standfast with good ideas.
Arryn/Soomis/Cool dude is, simply put, a hero of the people; they are a shining beacon of light within the CM community. All my interactions with them have been positive (this is so rare but always a good sign), whether that be roleplaying in game or conversating OOC. Clearly someone who not only gets the game but understands how it functions in tandem with the setting, truly appreciating it and elevating it round by round regardless of their role - always adding to the story being told in a round, never detracting. Such a no brainer for staff, exactly the sort of person you want on a staff team for this sort of game: patient, intuitive, good inference skills & well invested in the Aliens universe.
