Au Naturale Healing with no OD + Smoker Healer Class

So, most of these can be found in the drink dispenser in the kitchen- multitool it for extra reagents.

Tomato Juice: 20% chance to heal 1 Burn Damage

Orange Juice: 20% chance to heal 1 Oxygen Damage

Milk: 20% chance to heal 1 Brute Damage
Cafe Latte: 20% chance to heal 1 Brute Damage, likely same effects as Coffee below, likely has ODs, MIGHT stack with Milk.
Soy Latte: 20% chance to heal 1 Brute Damage, likely same effects as Coffee below, likely has ODs, MIGHT stack with Milk.

Tea: 20% chance to heal 1 Toxin Damage
Lime Juice: 20% chance to heal 1 Toxin Damage

Carrot Juice: Cures eye damage, so basically imidizoline

Doctor’s delight exists, but it has an OD limit.

Dr Gibb: Drowsy -6
Mountain Wind: -7 Drowsy
Coffee: Forces wake up, but has an OD limit, 30u for tics, .5 Heart Damage at 180u BE VERY CAREFUL WITH ITS OD. -5 Dizzy, -3 Drowsy, Sleepy -2 Removes frost oil.
Note: If it’s possible to use Frost Oil + Cryox/Clonex to do Cryo healing outside a Cryo Tube, this could be usable to, say, cryo some people en masse, then remove the frost oil afterwards?
Note: These two may possibly help with the boiler gas symptom, wherein you pass out? Might be possible to smoke with multiple chems to make a pseudo make-boiler-gas-almost-tolerable gas

Hot Cocoa: +1 Temp, Nutritious so Nutriment

Nutriment, Soy Sauce, Potato Juice, ie anything with the research property of Nutritious: Cures Hunger, helps replenish blood, etc. Soy Sauce can be made with Sulphuric Acid & Soy Milk. You can Multitool the dispenser in the Kitchen to have it dispense Soy Milk, or you can just use the bottles in the fridges.

Note that as these are food and drink, I’m not 100% sure on the metabolize rate, but I’m PRETTY sure it metabolizes pretty fast, especially compared to Medicine’s typical rate- so likely you can’t buff someone for very long.

A neat team build would be, say, 2-5 marines run incinerators, right? Each one equips a different smoke tank: Nutriment(Hunger/Blood), Tomato(Burn), Orange(Oxygen), Milk(Brute), and Tea/Lime(Toxin). So they could say, go up to medics and each drop the minimum smoke on the patient- it does a 2x2 Cross shape, so it’d buff the patient’s heal rate when they start getting rez’d(albeit it’s probably going to be a 20% chance for 1 heal of each), but also the medic treating them, if not diagonal in relation to the patient, will get full/healed as well.

And of course, you can set any chemical up in the smoke- for example, Neurotoxin or whatever the alcohol drink that makes you just be paralyzed instantly should knock people out en masse if you wanna, say, take over CIC without killing anyone. I assume that using Blood also works(Probably makes tons of blood puddles too though), and if it’s the wrong blood, of course that’d cause toxin damage.

You must smoke at least two tiles away. The minimum smoke makes a 2 tile x2 tile plus sign. Haven’t tested longer clouds to see how they disperse, but it’s likely like the metal foam they added- if so, it’ll go in a straight line, then spread out to be two tiles wide, so.

Also, be ready to explain profusely ‘why the hell are you smoking my patient/me’

pretty sure cryo/clonezadone doesnt work outside tubes even if you’re feeling cold.

Yeah, I wasn’t 100% on whether it would or not and hadn’t tested.

So what you are saying is that i should fill a injector reagent tank with unga plus Milk and juice? This would explain why some times i would see unga mixed with juice and coffee.

Still very nice guide i didn’t know food stuffs could be so helpful.

Edit: Anything with Nutriment heals brute at 0.5 as it has Neogenetic property. So neat fact MRES heal your brute damage not just help with blood loss.

Hi!

I just need to inform you that Nutriment gas (and subtypes of Nutriment) is banned as I was informed before by a maintainer. If done, it will be cosidered exploiting game mechanics. It had some relation to the nutriment nerf caused by a certain someone.

Well that is unfortunate.

nope, Sleeping and being knocked out are different status effects.

Boiler neuro DOES make you dizzy, but I nerfed it a while back so it mostly doesn’t persist.

By the way, different sub types of Nutriment (i.e. Noodles, Vegetable Matter, Egg, etc.) stack upon each other.

So lets say you ate Chicken and lettuce. At most, you’ll be healing 1 brute damage every 2 seconds.

Now. There is at least 11 variants of the nutriment sub types in MREs, so you’ll want a box (which contains 12 MREs) to grind, remove non-nutriment chems and put in a bottle, voila you have a ghetto brute healer stim I guess. (Also rapidly regens blood, cure bleed less than 10 seconds, and give you at least 15 minutes of full-hunger.)

I think best way to mass produce different liquid nutriments is to go to Research’s botany equipment. Take grapes, copy products onto tomatoes. Take those tomatoes, copy product onto blood tomatoes. Etc until you have a single plant that produces all possible plant nutriment types. Then, apply death nettle product on it, and grow a whole bunch of these. When you grind it up, just dispose of the bad death nettle stuff

Cool off-meta guide, but the moment maintainers catch whiff of this it’s going to get removed, because they hate creative ‘unintentional’ uses of ‘legacy’ food effects

Well, theres a difference between having fun with getting an extra 1 heal every 2-4 seconds, vs a private gathering 20 different foodstuff and have it heal him faster then magic chemicals.

Would be a different story if the chef made these stuff…
