can someone in staff atleast discuss with me my ban? I already dont have discord access and I cant discuss with any admins in there about what happened and my appeal was instantly turned down without so much as a single clarification or discussion; why is the discord moderation handled so callously? can I please have help understanding this issue and not be pushed away with my ticket being closed or my thread being disabled? I genuinely care about this and yet for any care I might have I get almost 0 from any member of staff. I got banned for something I didnt actually do and yet Im still being told I have to wait 6 months? how is that fair : (

Try contacting a staff member/write an adminhelp in the game, I guess?
Although, actually to add up to it: current discord manager has been enforcing a zero-tolerance policy in discord and, presumably in the game. I mean - I myself got banned for a month within the server for practically nothing and know the deal to a degree, so your best bet is to contact someone else and to get to management staff somehow. Unfortunately - these are the rules nowadays, so its likely that the ban will, in fact - stay for a while. Not sure, though.

I did even though yknow you really shouldnt do this because they instantly clarify that they are ingame moderators and not discord; even worse is when I posted my issue I was just told that " thats against TOS " even though they didnt read the part where I explicitly stated that it wasnt and that its false and a misunderstanding! I ahelped again and they said ’ it happens, good luck ’
its a complete misunderstanding and I have literally no means to rectify or understand this situation and Im being treated like the people who come into this place maliciously; they could of deleted the post and timed me out and sent me a DM or something so I could of had atleast an oppertunity to get an understanding or a chance to speak for myself.
I try to DM the guy who instantly denied my application on the forums to no avail, so now I just sit here feeling like shit being ignored.
I didnt post hateful content or use harmful language, I didnt abuse another member, I didnt post graphic content, I didnt bring up a ban in the discord; I posted a comedic video that had a joke recipe for meth and someone instantly banned me for 6 months with no questions or review because they thought it was real; but its not??? Im not trying to be a dick like sure it might not be obvious but what kind of spiteful moderation system bans someone over a misunderstanding and has no room to even discuss it?
I understand that theres a lot to moderate on discord but treating everyone regardless of context as harshly as possible feels extremely unfair; its not even zero tolerance its just malicious enforcement.
this place is supposed to be a community not some vogon hyper bureaucracy : \ I was working on trying to earn and apply for mentor and now Im worried this will tarnish my efforts, I have brought so many new people to this place and spent so many hours teaching people and a handful who even went on to get their own whitelists and are beacons of this community; I have a very serious appreciation for this place and am really sad that Im now kicked to the curb and given not a single genuine human interaction about it.
you can press f1 in game and you almost instantly get an admin response but on the forums the moderators can just ignore you.

Just… dont post on the discord… or forums for the most part. Especially outside jokes or anything political
It just takes a little of anything for you to eat a long ass suspension… and both the discord and forums are insanely more convulted to appeal than ingame stuff (Try doing a forum appeal… its even worse)
