Battlefield Execution + PVP = ough

CO’s should not be allowed to use battlefield executions on people who are not on their side. It’s a really powerful ability intended to quality control griefers, but if its not restricted it can be abused for advantage for any PvP scenario. 29841 round ending featured the CO BEing several already dead CLF members for PVP advantage. I mean, imagine if queen could gib people at range and without a cooldown.

If the round was ending how was it an advantage? Sounds like RP to me. Is this I was BE please remove post? Sounds like it is. Solved in 5 by @Bancrose.

COs already need to be on the tile adjacent to the person they plan on BEing, so this the ‘at range’ thing is already rather false. Unless you mean them magdumping them dead and then closing distance

Context: Someone was complaining about being BE’d while they were a round end, grief ERT kill team. So in essence, a legalized griefing squad is complaining about being killed with the anti-griefing gun.

I’d have done the same, as the 27x times before.

You are boarding a vessel to kill the people inside of it, and those people can kill you too.
CLF can just nab a C4 on any USCM personnel and leave as they turn to gibs, given they have more access to explosive materials i would say this is fairly just.

The second you hear the mateba, you and your mates should tighten up and stick together to avoid said scenario.

Quite easily to deal with that issue.
As for a Rule’s point of view you can check the last topic on Rule 4 under Permanent Removal.

Common sense by itself draws the scenario to a close if you ask me.

I know this must be frustrating for you but there are pre-established guidelines for when and how you can Battlefield execute someone.

A CLF ERT is absolutely liable to be shot and executed by the CO when terrorists board the ship with the intent to fight and kill the USCM.

Any protection you thought you had immediately goes out the window on that. Its not a battlefield execution, it is simply a use of his gun to kill CLF that were already hostile.

We don’t PB a crit drone and call it a battlefield execution, You’re grasping for straws unfortunately and this won’t be recieved in any other way than a forum drama shitpost.

Have a CM Day.

should read up on the rules before dying infront of the CO :broken_heart: :broken_heart: :broken_heart:

If the CO can BE hostile forces, then the hostile forces should have someone able to BE marines. Marines doing warcrimes of doubletapping the wounded should be responded the same way on the opposite force. Thats how warcrimes spread on a battlefield.

This is strictly against rule 4 btw.

They can, they will, and they have.

The end.
