Chicken tender, used to come with an onigiri and a flan. It sorta got nerfed, I havenāt found it again.
I think they have a chicken tender W-Y MRE with a protein soda, a couple of packaged foods like a burger and a hot dogs.
Unfortunately, itās limited and not at all what a Japanese majority (I think) MRE would be like. I think a Japanese MRE is like, curry with fresh rice and a good protein split. For example the official Evangelion Military Grade Ration packs. Personally the most appetizing looking is Evangelion Unit 05 hamburger steak curry.

The boneless McRib substitute that tastes like cheap bbq, brown sugar, and meat additives w/exec selects, fortune cookie (w/omen of bad fortune), risotto (tastes like french cardboard), onigiri (tastes like european socks). All the other MREs are for literal infants.
Out of game, all MREs are terrible - itās just what flavor of suffering you mind the least.

Worth mentioning that mechanically the chicken MRE gives 10 nutriment while everything else standard gives 9 or less

You seem to have a bit of a wrong understanding of how MREs work, we donāt have āmenusā so to speak, every part of the ration is randomized, which includes: main, side, snack, dessert, beverage powder bag, spread packet, iāve reworked mre code from scratch recently, i didnāt remove any existing meal, nor did i add stable menus.
About other rations, iāve added a huge variety of factional rations that i guess you just never seen
Each with unique set of meals and side items, also WY ration was never meant to be Asian (Japanese majority? who?), itās more of a general company cheap ration thing, with bug protein from Alien lore, the closest youād get to Asian ration is TWE one, iāve added some Asian dishes there.
Norway, the best of the best as they say.

Absolutely outdated info, iāve made all meals have actual reagents the meal is supposed to consist of, instead of ānutrientā

Wey-Yu did a fine job. Are you open to suggestions whatsoever? I think the game could use a civilian ration back, just for commercial sale inside the map convenience stores like on Big Red and Chanceās Claim. They could also mesh well with the CLF since theyāre civilians and theyāre being gunned down in front of their families for descending against Imperialism from both sides, starving for freedom in the far reaches of space where they should have autonomy from a foreign entity that continually terrorizes them with nuclear threats and bio weapons.
Iām absolutely sure theyād have likeā¦ a Bladerunner style ration pack thatās just a tv dinner with a stale soda or something.

I wanted to add some civi ration, but in that pr iāve added so fucking much so i just decided to leave it for later, overall by far i have to add:
remaking first strike ration into forecon/recon ration (itās commerical ration right now, which isnāt totally correct, i used it as a placeholder for now);
adding charms, m&mās and cereal bar to US MRE;
adding US humanitarian rations;
adding US MRE Cold Weather;
remake mre code to use menus instead;
and god knows what else, iām mostly collecting ideas/sprites currently, not switching to implementing until i get enough to implement, i donāt like small scale prs

CLF has their own ration too, but itās mostly a makeshift wrapped meal

Donāt remember any rations in Bladerunner honestly, or anything similar really (rewatched both movies 20+ times), but i get what you mean, itās just a bit tedious to add those, considering morally outdated cooking/food code

Best MRE is pizza MRE. Hands down, my morale is instantly improved whenever I get my hands on it

Best MRE is any with a fortune cookie in it- occasionally interesting, sometimes butgustingly funny
