Boiler rework pt 3: Long ranged

This is the final iteration of the boiler rework, a strain reminiscent of the old “Railgun” boiler that brings long ranged high damage with a modern CM flavor while also serving as a replacement for trapper’s long ranged ability as trapper will be removed in pt 2 of the rework

Health will be decreased heavily, the hurler will be very squishy on the frontline and should avoid it where possible, except to use it’s empower.

Active 1: Spit
Fires the selected spit.

Active 2: Switch spits
Switch spits between fragmentation spit and power spit

  • Power Spit: Spawns a shadow for a second on the targeted tile before firing a POWERFUL spit there (railgun boiler p much). This builds up empower.

5 second C/D, 100 plasma per shot.

  • Fragmentation: General purpose long ranged spit. Basically a instantly exploding prae acid shot but a little less fragments.

same c/d, 25 plasma per shot.

  • Hardened resin: Shoots a hardened resin bomb at the selected tile. After a few seconds, it will explode, rooting everyone (cant move or be dragged) in a 3x3 area for 3-5 seconds.

Active 3: Zoom
self explanatory

Active 4: Rapid spit
cannot be activated with zoom

After a windup, fires off a large volley of spits, akin to a “machinegun” that deal lowish damage but high dps. This volley builds up with empower, so the more marines you hit with your Power Shot, the bigger volley you can have. At max empower, it gives a small shield for the duration of the volley.

Passive 1: Empower
For every Power Spit that lands on a marine, it will increase empower.

Passive 2: Tail Trip
Tail stab slugstuns marines, but does half damage.

sounds like a neat idea but also sounds like its overloaded

this sounds too overpowered imo
